The Institute for Blood Transfusion and JP National Parks of Montenegro have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which will provide free tickets to National Parks for voluntary donors.
All voluntary donors, who will donate blood in the coming period, will have the option of choosing a free ticket to one of the five national parks, as a small sign of attention for a humanitarian work, said the director of the Blood Transfusion Institute, Tamara Šćepanović.
"With this humane gesture, the Institute will be able to express our gratitude to all those who voluntarily donate blood in a beautiful and symbolic way. I invite other institutions and socially responsible companies to follow the example of NPCG and together we influence the raising of awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation, that is, about how important it is to have sufficient supplies of blood at all times," Šćepanović said.
Aleksandar Bulatović, director of the National Parks of Montenegro, said that cooperation between these two institutions has become a tradition and pointed out the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles and being in nature, CG News Agency reports.
"I invite other institutions to follow our example and find a way for a similar type of cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Institute. "NPCG will continue to be a partner of the Institute on other similar projects," said Bulatović.
