Citizens who voluntarily donate blood will be able to visit one of the Montenegrin national parks (NP) for free, announced the Blood Transfusion Institute.
This, as they stated, was made possible by the Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed by the Director of the Institute for Blood Transfusion Tamara Šćepanović and the Director of National Parks (NPCG) Aleksandar Bulatović.
The Institute said that the Memorandum of Cooperation represents a small contribution and a sign of attention for that humanitarian work.
Šćepanović thanked for the vouchers and added that she hopes that this practice will continue.
"Thank you NPCG for the humane gesture, which will allow our voluntary donors to visit one of our five NPs with the option of choosing a free ticket. This sign of attention represents a great contribution to our humane actions," Šćepanović said.
She said that she hopes that others will follow the example of NPCG, in order to help promote and improve voluntary giving in Montenegro.
"Through such actions, they help us to pay attention and gratitude to our citizens for voluntarily donating blood, so that our transfusion service has a stable supply of blood at all times and can respond to all challenges," said Šćepanović.
She invited the citizens to participate in the akija and donate blood, so that the Institute would be a safe haven for all those who need blood.
Bulatović said that he is satisfied that they have the opportunity to support the voluntary donation carried out by the Institute for Blood Transfusion.
"I hope that other institutions will follow our example, pointed out Bulatović. The signatories of the Memorandum said that they believe that good cooperation between the Institute for Blood Transfusion and NPCG will become a practice that will encourage citizens to do this humane act.
