Suad Hot from Bjelopol, in the development of a stud farm of 13 horses, found a justified reason not to go abroad.

He lives on his ancestral land on Džafića hill, above the city, where he founded an equestrian club, which has started to work more actively these days.

The thirty-five-year-old, who is also a riding instructor, is the fourth generation in the Hot family, in whose blood, as he says, always flowed a love for horses. He currently has a stable of 13 horses, and plans to increase it to 20.

The modest Bjelopoljac has several types of horses in his stable: Arabian, Bosnian, several cross breeds, as well as ponies for children. A carriage has been purchased for the youngest horse lovers. In addition to the riding school, he also plans to establish a sports and competition section, as well as therapeutic riding for children with special needs and children with any other disorder.

"I fell in love with horses as a boy. I want to pass my love on to my fellow citizens and all lovers of these noble animals in this way," he says.

Hot previously lived in the Nedakusi settlement, but eight years ago he returned to Džafića hill, only a kilometer away from the city.

For work that requires time and great patience, it would be more difficult without the support of the family.

"The whole family helps me with the horses. We passed on our love for horses to our children, but my right hand is my wife," says Hot.

Training, he explains, is completed on the go, and in an hour on horseback you can tour the entire Bijelo Polje, see the peaks of Bjelasica, the panorama of the city from all angles, visit all the nearby hills and valleys.

Hot wants, as he explains, to do everything slowly but surely. He has been actively working at the stud farm since August last year, and he built a stable for them.

"There is still a lot of work to be done, but for now everything is going according to plan," says the Bjelopoljac.

His love for horses was decisive for him to refuse an invitation to go abroad with the whole family half a year ago. He wanted, he says, "to stay on his own, to be with his family and to do what he loves".

The greatest interest is currently in horse riding, I can learn the basics in half an hour. On the Džafića hill above Bijelo Polje, as our interlocutor says, there are wonderful natural paths from where the adventure through the beauties of Bijelo Polje starts. The price for an hour of riding is 10 euros.
