Arsić attacked Komnenović in the Tivat Municipality building

The President of the Municipality of Tivat Željko Komnenović and the head of the Internal Audit Service in that municipality, Jela Mrdak, filed criminal charges against Tivat businessman Rad Gago Arsić, who last Sunday broke into the premises of the local administration of Tivat and threatened them.

A Tivat businessman close to the DPS did this, allegedly outraged by an article in "Vijesti" about the municipality's criminal complaint against the former Tivat mayor Siniša Kusovac (DPS), whom the current Tivat NP-BF-GB local government accuses of being in the joint business of the Municipality and Arsić around construction of a large residential and commercial building on Seljanovo, by signing several annexes to the original contract, caused great damage to the Municipality and at the same time provided Arsić with a significant financial benefit.

In the report he submitted to the Tivat police against Arsić the day before yesterday, Komnenović stated that he entered the mayor's office in the Tivat Municipality building unannounced on Wednesday, February 16, around 11.10:XNUMX a.m. during a working meeting, "despite my direct order to the Municipality's security officer not to let the mentioned person go because he does not have a scheduled meeting with the President of the Municipality".

In the mayor's cabinet, apart from Komnenović, there were also the vice-presidents of the municipality Vladimir Arsić (NP) and Goran Božović (GB), and security worker Momčlilo Kovačević entered after Arsić.

He stood between him and Komnenović, in which Kovačević was joined by the Vice President of the Municipality Vladimir Arsić.

According to Komnenović, Rado Gago Arsić threatened and insulted him.

"Arsić started insulting me, cursing me with words, we will check how brave you are, you will not be in that position forever, calling me a rascal and trying to get in my face threateningly, waving his hands, you collected the squares badly, that is not true what was stated in the newspaper article, God will punish you because you are taking bread from the mouth of my family" - it is stated in the application, with the note that physical contact between the two was then prevented by Kovačević and Vice President Arsić, grabbing the hands of the enraged businessman who kept mentioning the lawsuit that Submitted by the municipality regarding the distribution of space in the newly built building on Seljanovo.

According to the distribution approved by Kusovac, the Municipality of Tivat, which was the majority owner of the land on which the new building whose investor was Arsić, was built, and which in addition released Arsić from the obligation to pay utilities, received only 18.5 percent of the space in the new building. while the Tivas businessman received almost 72,8 percent, and the other involved minority owners received 8,44 percent. As further stated in Komnenović's complaint, Rado Arsić refused to leave the premises of the Municipality and continued the discussion.

"Due to the announcement that auditor Jela Mrdak will also be sought at the workplace, we were forced to temporarily transfer her to the office of the Vice President of the Municipality of Arsića. I would like to point out that during the discussion, Arsić decidedly impudently and rudely asked me to publicly deny the article about the construction of the mentioned building, which was in the Vijesti daily, because he claimed that his reputation had been damaged by it and that he could no longer sell apartments in that building. to the building. In the discussion, he mainly complained about media captions and threats to his reputation and interests, to which I told him that he is free to process everything with the competent institutions for which he considers that he has been damaged, but that he cannot enter the Municipality building unannounced, threaten officials and the president. "- the application states.

It is further stated that Arsić spoke in a raised tone and menacingly about the audit in cases of financing the Arsenal football club, where he was the president of the board.

"The demolition of the illegal part of his brother Ljub's facility, which is about the Wai Kiki beach bar, the demolition of the illegal wall on the Lungo Mare route in Krašići, the behavior of Tivat police officers during the control of the operation of his facility during the New Year holidays, and media signs, especially those of journalist Siniša Luković who described the mentioned events" - reads Komnenović's statement to the Tivat police.

The application states that the officials of the Municipality, together with the president, felt threatened, and are asking the competent state authorities to protect them from the "arrogant behavior of the individuals of this city".

"Given the reputation of Mr. Arsić and the history of our relations, I can conclude that he behaved according to inertia and the practice he used with the former presidents of the Municipality of Tivat, to which I clearly told him during the discussion, that I will not tolerate such behavior and that I I'm not Miodrag Dragan Kankaraš and Siniša Kusovac," says Komnenović's report submitted to OB Tivat.

On the occasion of this report, Arsić gave a statement to the Tivat police yesterday, and the basic state prosecutor in Kotor, Anđa Radovanović, had until the end of the day yesterday to qualify the crime committed by the Tivat businessman.

By the way, the complaint against Arsić due to threats, even before Komnenović, was filed by the head of the Internal Audit Service of the Municipality of Tivat, Jela Mrdak.

As we unofficially learn, on the same day that "Vijesti" published the story about the criminal charges filed by the Municipality against Kusovac for the building on Seljanova, Arsić intercepted her on the street and accused her of being the source for the information published in the text. He asked Mrdak to deny the newspaper article, which she refused, pointing out that it had nothing to do with what the media had published.

After that, a nervous Arsić followed her to the Municipality building and, past the security at the entrance and an official in the mayor's office, broke into Komnenović's office and caused an incident by interrupting the working meeting of the Municipality's leadership. Exactly three years ago, Arsić similarly attacked and threatened the former director of Radio Tivat, Dragan Popadić, because he was dissatisfied with that media's coverage of the court case his family is conducting.

Popadić reported him to the police and the businessman was fined as a misdemeanor. Rado Gago Arsić, by the way, is in close friendly and business relations with Aco Đukanović, the brother of the Montenegrin president and DPS leader Milo Đukanović, as well as with Miloš Medenica, the son of the former president of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, Vesna Medenica.

Together with Medenica, he was an actor of illegal construction on the "foam of the sea" in Krašići, where the public Lungo mare promenade in front of their buildings was even blocked off with a wall of concrete blocks. The NGO MANS then filed criminal charges against Arsić and Medenica to the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, due to the suspicion that they usurped part of the state property in Krašići and illegally built on it.
