The vice-president of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) Marijana Bojanić, through USAID's Media Assistance Program in the Balkans (BMAP), was chosen among six from the Balkans who are among the few in management positions in the media and who, with her proactive approach, raised management standards and results. work deserved to bear the epithet of heroine of the Balkans, it was announced from AMM.
Bojanić has been a member of the AMM presidency since 2015, and was elected vice-president in 2020.
She assumed the position of executive director of TV Vijesti in 2014, and since 2018 she has been at the head of the daily newspaper and the Vijesti portal. "The exceptional achievements that she achieved during her career were accompanied by numerous awards as well as social activism, so among others it is worth highlighting the ISKRA philanthropy award," added AMM.
They said that management skills, the raised level of standards in the company, as well as the results, decided the Management Board of AMM to award her the award of the Best Manager for 2020, which, they point out, represents one of the most prestigious awards given by the profession and enjoys the status of national brand.
"Proactive approach, contribution to the work and development of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, as well as the achievement of the mission of raising leadership and managerial knowledge and skills, decided the Executive Board of the organization to elect her as the president of the Committee for Leadership and Business Women, whose constitution is expected soon", concludes in the announcement.
