Yesterday, Ulcinj was not the place of central events in the country on the occasion of Women's Day, as was expected and announced a month earlier. Escalation of war events in Ukraine forced travel agencies from neighboring Albania to cancel an already contracted arrangement for more than 300 women on Ulcinj's Ada.
This was confirmed to "Vijesta" by the executive director of Ulcinj Riviera Bojan Djakonović.
"Just now, the owner of an agency confirmed to me that due to the new situation in Ukraine, there will definitely be no organized tours on the occasion of the XNUMXth of March. Unfortunately", said Đakonović.
Đakonović claims that because of the war, in general, everything stopped.
"Booking completely and from all markets, there are even cancellations of already contracted arrangements", he stated...
All the employees in the nudist resort on Ada were on their feet throughout February preparing the camp for the arrival of more than 300 members of the fairer sex from Albania on the occasion of March 30. It would be the first time in the last XNUMX or more years that the resort would open its doors to guests in that period and in such a large number.
As Đakonović told "Vijesta" earlier, the capacities should have been filled on March 14, when Albania traditionally celebrates "Spring Day" - "Dita e veres". Now that arrangement has also been cancelled.
