"Adriatic properties" installs a gate and a fence on Kraljičina beach

The tenant of the Sveti Stefan hotel complex today started to install the fence on the Kraljičina beach, which was broken by the locals a year ago.

The company of Greek businessman Petros Statis, as "Vijesti" confirmed, has informed the Government that it will erect a fence.

Last year, the locals broke down the gate, and the Kraljičina beach, which had been "closed" for a decade and a half, was freed for swimming by all citizens. This was also the reason why Aman Resorts refused to open the city hotel Sveti Stefan and Villa Miločer last year, stating that it could not guarantee discretion for its guests. Today, the locals called the Municipal Police to react.

The installation of the gate followed the decision of the Commercial Court of Montenegro, which issued a decision confirming the earlier decision on a temporary measure in favor of Adriatic Properties "Budva" in relation to the Aman Sveti Stefan resort, Adriatic Properties announced.

"Following this decision, Adriatic is pleased to announce its intention to open the Aman Sveti Stefan resort for the upcoming season of 2022," said the company.

As they stated, the terms of the temporary measure prevent the Hotel Group Budvanska Riviera (as the lessor) as well as the Ministry of Economic Development (MER) (as the guarantor of the lessor) from taking any actions that could harm Adriatic and its rights to exclusivity and peaceful enjoyment of regarding the leased property of the resort Aman Sveti Stefan (including the neighboring beaches and marine property) which Adriatic has used without interruption for more than 14 years.

Controllers of the Public Enterprise for the Management of Marine Assets, as "Vijesti" was told, went to the scene and made an official note.

An urgent request was sent to the Municipal Police and Inspection of the Municipality of Budva to urgently stop the installation of the gate and fence on Kraljičina Beach.

President of the Local Community (MZ) Sveti Stefan Vladislav Mitrović and Council member Mladen Kažanegra announced the installation of a fence on Kraljičina Beach by Adriatic Properties.

"Dear citizens, we hereby inform you that the installation of an "illegal gate" in Miločerski Park by the tenant of Adriatic Properties is in progress. However, we are not surprised by them and their actions, nor by the decision of Commercial Court judge Blaž Jovanić, whose career was marked by money embezzlement scandals rather than good and honorable decisions, but we are very surprised that the new young minister Jakov Milatović, with whom we are on meeting in the Government of Montenegro had a meeting and an agreement. We kept our word, but you trampled on yours, ministers. It's not a good start to your career, you haven't even sat down and you've already become part of a group of materialists who put the interests of citizens last. We expect an immediate response from the competent institutions of the Maritime Dobor, the Municipal Inspection and the company Sveti Stefan hoteli AD. Urgently remove the gate, paths and beaches so that they are accessible to citizens. The Ministry of Health of Sveti Stefan and the locals will not do anything beyond the legal framework, but we would not be surprised by various faking of incidents by those concerned."
