The Assembly of the Capital City of Cetinje, on the proposal of the Local Community of Trešnjevo, unanimously adopted the decision to erect a memorial to the innocently victimized Zvicer family, in the village of Rokoči in Cuce.
All 28 members present voted for the decision.
"The suffering of Zvicer happened almost 100 years ago, when seven members of the family of the famous Montenegrin hero Petar Zvicer were burned, while his grandmother Đurđa was tied to a tree in front of the house to watch the fire in which her offspring disappeared," they remind from Prijestonica.
The mayor of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, said, as reported from Prijestonica, that erecting a memorial to the martyred Swiss is "our duty and moral obligation".
The memorial will be erected by the Capital of Cetinje in the village of Trešnjevo in Cuce.
