The Municipality of Tivat has successfully implemented two valuable public tenders, within which asphalting and rehabilitation of numerous traffic roads in the territory of Tivat was carried out. Among them are locations that have been a problem for citizens for many years, and some have been neglected for decades.
The total value of the works performed as part of the tender was over 400 thousand euros.
"From the budget of the Municipality of Tivat, the rehabilitation of local roads in the total value of over 320 thousand euros was financed, and for the realization of this tender, a contract was concluded with Akropolis from Nikšić, which was selected as the most favorable contractor in a public call in November 2021. contract, after more than 30 years, the old road towards Đuraševići was paved and widened on an area of 8.643 m2. The value of these works was 187.710,90 euros, which also represents the largest investment in road infrastructure in this area, if the projects MR1 and MR2 road," the local administration of Tivat announced yesterday on that occasion.
As part of the same contract, the rehabilitation of the road towards the Island of Flowers was carried out, on an area of 2.573 m2, for which EUR 65.271,00 was allocated, then in Marići Street (970 m2) where EUR 18.029,00 was spent, while for the rehabilitation of the street towards Ponta Seljanovo (741 m2) invested 13.176,90 euros.
Renovations were also carried out in Risanska street on an area of 483 m2, Mazina street towards the "Anton" hostel on an area of 345 m2, as well as in the streets in Kava (358 m2), Krašići towards the church (156 m2), Učura do (285 m2) and Vrijes IV (96 m2), and the total value of the works at these locations was over 36 thousand euros.
"In addition, in cooperation with the Directorate of Public Works, the project of asphalting city and suburban streets was implemented. The contractor was the company Asfalt-beton gradnja from Podgorica, and the value of the contract was about 86 thousand euros. As part of this tender, in the Podkuk settlement on an area of 965 m2, the asphalt pavement was removed with a thickness of 5 cm, and the purchase and installation of a bearing layer of asphalt with a thickness of 6 cm. About 30 thousand euros were allocated for these works", stated the Municipality.
New asphalt was also installed in Cacovo Street, on an area of 684 m2, which solved a long-standing problem of the residents of this neighborhood, and 12.391,00 euros were allocated for the works at this location. In Mazina I Street, on an area of 300 m2, asphalting in the value of 7.556,45 euros was carried out, while six thousand euros were set aside for asphalting Gornji Kalimanj Street next to the Music School, on an area of 200 m2. A total of 145 euros was spent on paving Kalimanj (2 m300), Vrijes II (2 m120) and Gornji Dumidran (2 m30) streets.
