At today's session, the Municipal Assembly of Bar, in accordance with the Law on Communal Activities, with the approval of the Energy Regulatory Agency, gave its consent to changes in the prices of water and communal services, it was announced by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) committee there.
"The just-mentioned approach in defining the prices of water and communal services is aimed at creating a more favorable environment for consumers. Numerous reductions in the mentioned prices apply to both individuals and legal entities and entrepreneurs, which reduces levies, creates a more favorable business environment and additionally encourages further development of the economy in our city," announced the president of Bar DPS and director of "Water and Sewerage" Mladen Đuričić.
He pointed out that this is a very important document and that specifically, for legal entities and entrepreneurs, the reduction refers to the fixed part for delivered water, which is lower by 30,28 percent - from 1,81 to 1,26 euros.
"The reduction also applies to the accepted and removed waste water in the percentage of 22,34 percent, from the previous 0,29 to 0,23 euros per month. In addition to the above, the variable part of the price for delivered water was reduced by 6,89 percent from 1,76 .1,64 to 15,88 euros, that is, by 0,41 percent for the variable part of the price for accepted and removed waste water, from 0,35 to XNUMX euros," said Đuričić.
When it comes to the prices related to natural persons, the minimum increase in the amount of 0,044 euros on the variable part of the price for delivered waste water is canceled by reductions for all other items related to: the fixed part for delivered water by 21,43 percent from 0,99 to 0,78 euros; the variable part for accepted and discharged waste water by 5,08 percent from 0,23 to 0,21 euros; as well as the fixed part for accepted and removed waste water by 22,34 percent, from the previous 0,29 to 0,23 euros per month.
"We believe that the new price list, which is in line with the law, will give an additional incentive to the development of the water supply and sewerage network along the entire municipality of Bar and at the same time will be an opportunity to provide citizens and the economy with better and better quality water supply," concluded Đuričić.
