Two representative trade unions of Railway Transport of Montenegro (ŽPCG) distanced themselves from the demands of their colleague Mirko Rmandić, who, as they stated, has been on a "hunger" strike for days, stating that he does not have their support and that they do not stand behind his demands, because they are not in favor of that company and workers.
"The background of the protest and demands of colleague Rmandić was not caused by any persecution, but on the contrary by his personal animosity and interest", they pointed out in a letter to the director of the Railway Administration Željko Radinović, the president of the Single Union of ŽPCG workers Milan Usančević and Zoran Dabanović on behalf of the ŽPCG Union, which is part of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions Montenegro.
In their letter, which they sent to Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, Minister of Capital Investments Mladen Bojanić, Director of the Directorate for Railways Dragana Lukšić and President of the Board of Directors Veselin Ivanović, they pointed out that "colleague Rmandić had many affairs in his biography and will only mention the biggest".
Among other things, they accused Rmandić that, during the embargo against the former Yugoslavia, he "smuggled barrels of fuel by train on the Belgrade-Bar route, that in 2012, in Bijelo Polje, the train auditors at the time, his colleague Cebalović (the current director of international traffic, whose dismissal he is seeking due to personal intolerance ) and his colleague Skrobanović found about thirty misused ballpoint pens, whose name is known as "write and erase", and then he returned the same tickets as not canceled at the passenger ticket offices in exchange for money (800 euros)".
"For this type of check, colleague Rmandić was subject to disciplinary action, for which there is evidence in the form of decisions on disciplinary measures, although everything was removed from his file. The then executive director Šarović was preparing a criminal complaint against him, which did not happen due to his sudden dismissal , after which the work of the aforementioned auditors is limited only to internal local train traffic, and colleague Rmandić returns to international trains thanks to his engagement as secretary of the union. and EUR 150.000 for the purchase of an apartment from the workers' fund. Serbian Railways then changes the validity period of one-way train tickets to one day," stated the union presidents.
They claim that the transportation of prohibited, customs and excise goods became a family business of Rmandić, in which he also included his son, who in the meantime, under suspicious circumstances, was employed in the pre-election campaign in the same position that he also holds - an attendant of sleeping and couchette cars.
"His son, Stefan, was arrested in Podgorica in 2019 and taken to CB Podgorica, and Mirko Rmandić on December 25.12.2021, XNUMX," they added.
In the letter, the presidents of the trade union listed many more accusations against Rmandić and pointed out that the fact that he decided to take this line does not mean that he is defending the truth and that he has completely made senseless and devalued an honorable form of hunger strike protest, which the employees of the ŽPCG know all too well. the only reason why he lacks the support of his employees.
