Bečić: I am proud that Pećanac received citizenship - it was our debt to her development of culture and creativity

I am proud of the fact that Mrs. Vesna Pećanac, at my suggestion as the then President of the Assembly, officially received Montenegrin citizenship today, Aleksa Bečić, the leader of Democratic Montenegro, wrote on Twitter.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Sergej Sekulović, made a decision on the admission of actress Vesna Pećanac to Montenegrin citizenship, it was announced earlier today from that department.

"That was our debt to her, but also to her family's contribution to the development of culture and creativity in Montenegro," added Bečić.
