Let's plant the seeds for the future

Earth Day is celebrated every year on April 22. On that occasion, UNIQA Insurance donated seedlings to "Zelenilo" in Podgorica for the afforestation of the tree line in Kralja Nikola Street. Together, UNIQA volunteers and employees of "Zelenil" planted trees and thus marked the global action, the theme of which this year was 'Invest in Our Planet'.

Milica Vukčević, public relations manager at "Zelenil", pointed out that she is pleased with the fact that, in order to preserve the environment, socially responsible companies decide on this type of activity:

• Preservation of the environment, especially in the time we live in, is a challenge, and for this reason, we want to raise awareness of the importance of each new seedling and invite our fellow citizens to protect green areas. With our activities, we will continue to work on greening Podgorica and improving the quality of life in the capital. I would like to thank UNIQA insurance for the donation and I believe that other socially responsible companies will follow their example.

Sustainability is increasingly important and an integral part of UNIQA Group's corporate strategy. By presenting the program "UNIQA 3.0 - Plant the seeds for the future", the company aligned its strategic goals with the sustainable goals of the Paris Agreement. The climate goal set by this agreement is to limit global warming to well below 2⁰C and reach the 1,5⁰C target by the middle of the 21st century.

UNIQA osiguranje, as a socially responsible company, will continue its actions in order to improve the quality of the environment in Montenegro.
