Youth center soon in the center of Podgorica

The Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković, announced that one of the business premises owned by the Capital City, in Hercegovačka Street, will be converted into a Youth Center in the next few months.

Vuković spoke with young fellow citizens who, as part of the "Youth Evening" event, showed interest in the direction of Podgorica's future development and in issues concerning their position in society. Organized by the Capital City and the NGO Network for Youth Activism of Montenegro, last night, in addition to the talks with the mayor, a concert was held on the plateau near the city library.

The mayor, as reported, expressed his satisfaction at meeting a large number of high school students and students and discussing their position in Podgorica. "I was also very pleasantly surprised by the level of interest, ideas and suggestions we received. "I sent a message that young people must be actively involved in decision-making processes because, after all, the future of Podgorica belongs to them," Vuković said.

He said that the Youth Center will be a new meeting place for their peers, a place for good company, as well as a place for organizing various lectures, workshops and a place with good energy.
