Officials of the Police Administration announced that today, at 10 a.m., they will submit a request for the resignation of the president of their union, Mladen Šuškavčević, in the premises of the Trade Union of the Police Administration in Zagorič.
In the announcement, which Vijesti had access to, it is written that they are seeking Suškavčević's dismissal due to huge dissatisfaction with his work, numerous affairs and the functioning of the trade union.
"Our salary was reduced several times, allowances were abolished, and the president did nothing about it. Everyone who receives a salary from the budget was increased several times, and we were the only ones who remained on the same and even lower salaries. The reasons for the resignation are numerous - from accusations of abuses related to housing construction and spending of union money, to failures in the protection of police officers, to doubts about the validity of the diploma, which he has never refuted. Union members believe that the president with such mortgages has neither personal nor professional credibility to represent the Union in the talks with the employer, which we really need," the announcement of the Police Administration officer reads.
