The delegation of the municipality of Kolašin, headed by President Milosav Bulatović, the delegation of UBNOR and the city's anti-fascists, as well as the delegation of the Army of Montenegro, laid flowers at the monument to the fallen fighters in the city center.
The commemoration was also attended by Milan Đukić, president of the Kolašin Municipal Council, as well as representatives of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
"Freedom and anti-fascism are the permanent highways of man and human civilization, including Montenegro, which through its history has won a special right to have the flag of freedom in its hands. Both on this Kolašin Square of Fighters and on the Belvedere in Cetinje, Montenegrin flags are a special shield of dignity of Montenegro and its citizens," said Darko Bulatović, president of UBNOR and anti-fascist Kolašin, on the occasion of celebrating May 9, Victory Day.
Never like today, said the president of UBNOR, neither Europe, nor the region, nor our Montenegro will be united, because freedom and anti-fascism are legacies that everyone understands.
"Bequests that are also a guarantee that the victims and visions of freedom fighters have generations that continue their path - the path of freedom and dignity that Montenegro has learned," he said.
