The fourth edition of the Porodica Fest parenting festival will be held on Saturday, May 14 in Podgorica, in the park in front of the Petrović castle in Kruševac.
The event is organized on the occasion of International Family Day, which is celebrated worldwide on May 15.
The Parents' Association announced that the program of this year's edition of the festival is the richest so far, and will be organized in the atrium in front of the Castle and in different zones in the park.
"The last edition of the parenting festival Porodica Fest gathered over ten thousand visitors, so we decided that this year the program will be even richer and more diverse, because we expect that, after a two-year break, we will host an even larger number of citizens of all generations. We gathered around 70 participants who will prepare creative, educational and sports activities as well as entertainment for the little ones. With us are numerous organizations from different fields as well as individuals who deal with children's education and topics that are interesting to parents", announces Katarina Čarapić from the Parents association.
The festival will be officially opened with a traditional promenade of cyclists of all generations, organized by the non-governmental organization Biciklo.me.
A diverse entertainment program will be organized in the atrium in front of the castle. During the first part of the program, which starts at 11.10:17 a.m., the following will perform: the children's choir "Zvezdice", the ensemble of the Podgorica City Theater with a puppet performance "Doll and her world", then the soloists of the singing school "D-moll", singer Nina Žižić, the dance school "Beauty" and students of the Art School for Music and Ballet "Vasa Pavić". During the second part of the program, which starts at XNUMX p.m., the following will be performed: the "Don Bosco" center, which will hold a circus show and a workshop, then the dancers of the "Art Viva Dance" dance school, the students of the "Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin" elementary school, who will perform the performance " Upside-down story", then the dance club "Sonrisa", and at the end of the program, an open-air cinema will be organized, in cooperation with the Film Center of Montenegro.
As many as 60 different participants will take part in the part of the program that will be organized in different zones in the park. Most of the participants will organize different contents that will be interesting for all family members. During the program, more than 70 creative, educational and sports workshops and activities will be held within 11 thematic zones.
Within the Art Zone, the contents will be organized by: Play Library and Development Center, students and professors of the Faculty of Visual Arts, musician Milica Milović, creative workshop Happy Pot, drawing school Van Gogh and My Imaginarium.
In the Science and Research Zone, the program will be organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science PRONA and teacher Sava Kovačević with the students of class II-2 from Elementary School "Oktoih".
In the Education and Entertainment Zone, the activities will be organized by the Center for the Protection and Study of Birds, animators Rent a Party, Ples uma, biologist Aleksandar Perović, Marina Bokan, Žarko Žabac and the club of young researchers of Elementary School "Radojica Perović" with teachers Mirjana Popović and Bojana Miranović.
Within the Reading Zone, the contents will be organized by Čigralište and KS Art Viva Dance, and during the day the book library of the Toy Store and Development Center will be set up and opened.
In the Health Zone, the contents will be organized by the Capital and the House of Health, as well as by the Department of Dentistry of the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica.
In the Sports Zone, the activities will be organized by Sonrisa, Sports Recreational Society of Corrective Gymnastics "M&M Iskra" Podgorica, S3 Sports School, Dance Academy Podgorica, Judo Club "Budućnost", GK "Enigma" Podgorica, Wrestling Club "Perjanik", Karate Club "Podgorica". and ZOK "Morača".
In the Scouting Zone, the Union of Scouts of Montenegro will organize a scouting day.
Within the Domi me zone The NGO "Animal House" will organize the adoption of puppies, while the NGO Ruka Šapi will organize an educational workshop in the afternoon part of the program.
In the NTC zone, numerous contents will be organized by the NTC centers of Montenegro, while within the Eco zone, the contents will be prepared by the Association of Eco Kindergartens.
A picnic area will be set up in the park where visitors will be able to take a break from numerous activities in the park and enjoy family time in the pleasant shade.
In addition to the program in the atrium and in the zones, a spring masquerade ball of children from PPU "Maša" will be held in the park, and the guests of the festival will be firefighters from the Podgorica Protection and Rescue Service.
