The Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) established, as they said, one of the unreasonable causes of long waits for certain specialist and subspecialist examinations in our institution.
As they stated, at the moment over 5.300 multiple instructions for one examination are active, and that in practice this means that they have observed numerous patients who for one examination at e.g. cardiologists even have up to six scheduled appointments.
"After the observed problem, KCCG made it impossible to further schedule multiple appointments for the same examination. The existing multiple appointments will be deleted, and we will inform the patients about the real appointment, so we ask them to answer incoming calls from the number 020/412-495," he says. in the announcement.
In addition, they pointed out that they will send an invitation to all health centers that have general hospitals in their territory, in which doctors of the appropriate specialty work, to use this option as a primary option and not, as before, to immediately refer all patients to the KCCG, which is and the only tertiary level health institution in the country.
"KCCG continues to work as dedicatedly as before, and with the goal of providing the best and most efficient health care in the country, we hope that all colleagues from other health institutions, under the supervision and with the help of the Ministry of Health, will maximally help in achieving that ambition." it is written in their statement.
