On one of the three smaller ferries of the company "Pomorski sabrojc" from Kamenar, at around 11 o'clock this morning during the departure maneuver from Lepetan, there was a mechanical problem with one of the two engines.
As a result of this and the poor reaction of the helmsman, the ferry hooked the nearby bigger ferry "Teodo" with its right bow part.
There were no injuries in the incident, and the ships suffered symbolic damage, where part of the left bow rubber fender (fender) was torn off from the impact on "Theod".
As we unofficially learn, the Port Authority of Kotor and the Navigation Safety Inspection were not officially informed about the incident.
Despite the fact that the authorities were not informed by the "Marine Transport" company that there had been a minor collision between two of their ships, there are video recordings of the incident because the water area is immediately adjacent to the operational coast of the ferry pier in Lepetani under constant video surveillance by the company itself.
