The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will continue to promote activities that can be useful to all citizens, actively contributing to the further progress of Montenegro in the process of European integration and the fulfillment of sustainable development goals, said the permanent representative of UNDP in Montenegro, Daniela Gašparikova.
It was announced that the Minister of Internal Affairs, Filip Adžić, spoke with Gašparikova.
"The meeting was an opportunity to confirm high-quality cooperation, as well as joint projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the United Nations Development Program in Montenegro," the statement said.
According to reports, Gašparikova praised the previous cooperation between UNDP and the Ministry in the area of reducing the illegal possession and smuggling of small arms, as well as gender-based violence.
"Apostrophizing joint projects, Gašparikova emphasized the importance of digitization for better provision of public services and stated that UNDP will continue to promote activities that can be of benefit to all citizens, actively contributing to the further progress of Montenegro in the process of European integration and the fulfillment of the goals of sustainable development," she says. in the announcement.
The meeting was attended by Sergej Muchalica, Acting General Director of the Directorate for European Affairs, International Cooperation and Support Programs, and Tomica Paović, Head of the Sector for Democratic Governance, Economy and Environment at UNDP.
