The director of the Media Center, Goran Đurović, said that, after yesterday's statement by the former general director of Radio and Television of Montenegro, Božidar Šundić, it is clear that the contract between RTCG and BFE Studio und Medie Systeme Gmbh was violated, because, as he states, there was a breach agreed deadlines for the implementation of the digitization project.
Šundić said yesterday that "the facts are in the Elaborate on the justification of subsequent works on the construction of the TV and Radio DATA Center".
Đurović points out that the obligations between the contracting parties are agreed upon by a contract or annexes to the contract, and not by elaborations. "The annex to the contract, which we requested based on free access to information, was not submitted to the media center, so the only conclusion is that the annex to the contract does not exist. Only the annex to the contract could extend the deadline for the implementation of the project, which cost citizens over 17 million euros," Đurović announced.

He reminds that the supplier, based on the contract, had to complete the entire work in eight months. "Based on the collected documentation, it can be concluded that the delivery of the service was delayed by 170 days. Due to the delay in the delivery and integration of the system, the supplier was obliged to pay RTCG 527.023 euros. According to the contract, the general director had to collect the contractual penalty and was not allowed to forgive it supplier", adds Đurović.
The media center called on the current Council and management of RTCG to determine the facts regarding the digitization process of that media house and protect the interests of the public service and citizens. "If the Council and the management of RTCG do not review the legality of the digitization process, they will become complicit in causing damage of 527.023 euros," Đurović concluded.
