Residents of the Bistrica area also blocked the highway Bijelo Polje - Prijepolje, in the town of Gubavač - Dobrakovo, from 12:14 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., due to the interruption of the reconstruction of the Gubavač - Bistrica road.

They announced that they will continue with the blockades tomorrow from 11.30:XNUMX a.m., when they will start a protest walk from the Voli market to the Municipality building.

"In this way, we are sending a message to the Public Works Administration, the Ministry of Capital Investments and the contractor company Štrabag, that we will continue with the blockades, until one of them addresses us and informs us whether and exactly when the works will be resumed," he said. President of the Municipal Health Bistrica Sakib Čindrak.

Member of the Council of the Local Community of Bistrica, Uglješa Prebiračević, said that the residents of the Bistrica region were outraged by the demolition of the local road by the state of Montenegro and the contractors of the company "Štrabag", i.e. subcontractors of the company "Imperial".

"The people of Bistrica have been suffering damage for more than three years and have big problems how to get to their houses, that is, how to survive, especially those who live right next to the road. The company "Imperial" came, destroyed the road, damaged all approaches to houses and plots, destroyed the fixed telephone network, fiber optic cable, many water pipes, remained in debt to the workers and fled with all the machinery to Serbia, which they hate. And everyone responsible in this country, from the president to the local administration, says that no one is to blame. Only the people of Bistrica are still doing well. By law, we even have to report every protest regularly, and we know that various so-called patriots in Podgorica and Cetinje do it wildly, with tires and flags, but the law does not apply to them, they are supposedly for the state," said Prebiračević.
