The new Law on Spatial Planning and Building Construction, as well as a number of other tendentious and unscrupulous actions taken, directly directed against the interests of the resident population, shows the clear intention of the current republican government to turn Boka into a private pashaluk, with the help of its vassals, it was announced from the Boke Forum. (BF).
"It is becoming increasingly clear that the conscious devaluation of the only valuable resource that Montenegro (still!) has, which is the coast, represents nothing more than the self-interested moves of the political quasi-elite. What is most unfortunate in everything is that they found accomplices in the shameful decisions in none other than in the deputies who come to the republican parliament from Boka. This showed that stronger than conscience is the awareness that without Spiritus movens they are simply condemned to exclusion from all more or less important social and political events. But it is also shown by the absence of their aware of the fact that they have lost the only thing a person must not lose: dignity! Exchanging dignity for a political position is not a good trade," said BF.
The press release added that the tendentious Law with the undisguised intention to decapitate Bok by force is the most brutal example of centralization and this at a time when modern democratic states strive for the principles of decentralization in order to nurture the authentic values of certain areas.
"The Spatial Planning Act is neither the first nor the last act of the tragic drama that the DPS and its henchmen are carrying out over Boka. And those classic crimes against Boka, wrapped in a wafer of democracy and covered with a legal veil, will continue. This is precisely why the Boke Forum is of the opinion that Boka's autonomy is the only solution for this situation into which the current government and its interested partners have drawn us," the BF statement concludes.
