The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption found that he was the former State Secretary in the Ministry of Health Veljo Čađenović violated four provisions of the Law on Prevention of Corruption. Among the violations of the Law is the fact that at the same time he was in the chair of the Board of Directors of the Pharmacy of Montenegro "Montefarm" for several months, i.e. that he did not act according to the opinion of the Agency in this case.

Čađenović said that he had been waiting for the Agency's opinion for several months and that within 30 days of its delivery, he had given the service an order to submit his resignation.

"The agency appreciated Čađenović's statements that within 30 days from the date of submission of the opinion he gave the service an order to submit his resignation and that he would submit proof of this, but found that they did not influence a different decision in this administrative matter, because even after submission opinion continued to perform two incompatible functions at the same time and did not provide evidence that he gave the service an order to resign from one of the two public functions", the explanation states.

The Agency's decision states that he did not even report within the legal deadline that he was appointed to the Board of Directors of "Montefarm", thereby violating the Law.

According to the decision, Čađenović had to report to the Agency an increase in assets worth more than 5.000 euros, and it concerns the purchase of five motor vehicles for himself and his family. He said that he did not know that he had to report it within 30 days with a special card.

He also did not declare all income and assets in his record. Apart from not reporting that he is one of the co-owners of property in Brskut, he did not, among other things, report all of his wife's income from the University of Montenegro and the Ministry and his daughter's income from the Podgorica Health Center of 2.250 euros.

Čađenović said that he did not know that property that is not fully owned should be reported, that it was an oversight concerning his wife's income, and that he did not know about his daughters.
