The Department for Seismology of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology registered a minor earthquake with an epicenter four kilometers east of Bar this evening at 22:29 p.m.
The Department of Seismology announced that the strength of this earthquake in the hypocenter (focus) was 3.0 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to the epicentral intensity of degree IV of the Mercalli scale (MCS).
The epicenter of this earthquake was located at a depth of 14 km. Based on the numerical model of the change in intensity with distance in this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, this earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area.
