Acting Director of the State Archives of Montenegro, Danilo Mrvaljević, announced today that on June 28, around 21:50 p.m., he was attacked for the umpteenth time, and that this time it happened on his doorstep, in front of his house.
"The attacker came with a plan from Budva, he previously invited me through the Instagram social network and God saved me from being stabbed. My mother in her seventh decade of life, who had an operation a month and a half ago, received a blow from which she fell on the asphalt and for a short time she completely lost consciousness and did not give any signs, until her father took out her tongue and we poured water on her. After hitting my mother, the assailant fled in a flash in the car, I ran after him as much as I could, but he did not stop. My he insulted my father, brandished a knife, we received threats that we would all be killed... The attacker referred to Filip Adžić, as he shouted "police minister", accusing me of organizing the attacks and speaking against him. At first, he threatened me through an Instagram call, and then in front of my house, completely enraged, shouted the same thing again - that I was organizing some attacks on Adžić and that I was speaking against him and "that we will not do that, that they will kill us all..." and repeated "you know very well "...", Mrvaljević wrote on Facebook.
He added that he still sincerely wants me to believe that Adžić is not behind this.
"But I haven't had peace for days, and the fact that this man has not called me by phone until tonight, nor contacted me through any of his colleagues from URA, even as a citizen, and he knows about this horror that happened to me and my family makes me seriously suspicious. If he doesn't want to tell me or if he thinks that a knife attack and hitting a woman in her seventh decade of life is not so terrible, she will certainly tell the Court, so that we can both be calm, and the Court, I hope, despite my deep disappointment in all possible institutions, to establish the background and the full truth of how this came to be and who is responsible for coming with a knife and attacking me on my doorstep," said Mrvaljević.
He said that there are many questions:
"Why is the attacker my last name, whom I haven't seen with my eyes for a million years? What was the goal of this? Why the attack on the day when there was a sharp polemic in the Parliament of Montenegro between the Democrats and the Minister of the Interior? Is the attacker really a member and / is he an activist of the URA or is he just someone who posts support on the networks and has nothing to do with this political entity? What is the attacker's relationship with Filip Adžić and do they even know each other? Who is behind this, because this is not done just like that to decide to go to someone's house and attack him with a knife, someone you haven't seen in a million years and with whom you have no contact except for the same last name, and bearing in mind everything that has been done to me for years? Who, in the end, is behind all the attacks on me, who assessed my safety, who organizes persecution on social networks and the relativization of all attacks, who for years creates a negative image of me and my family who are going through hell...", wrote Mrvaljević.
He announced that he has already asked for a security assessment twice and that to date he has not received any document, no response in writing, and the attacks, he claims, were becoming more frequent and more severe, this time almost with a tragic outcome.
"Both times, I was only told orally that my security was not at risk, but I was not allowed to see the documentation concerning my security, with the explanation that it was secret information. I requested a third assessment on June 30.06.2022, XNUMX, as part of the statement about this last one. attack and asked for information about who made the previous assessments and asked if I should die or one of my family members and then get an answer. I am waiting for an official answer, I will not submit the fourth request," said the Acting Director of the State Archives of Montenegro.
Mrvaljević also said that he is losing trust in institutions.
"I am losing complete trust in the institutions of my only country and the little trust I had. I have taken everything that is within my power and that is available to a citizen in accordance with positive regulations. I will also seek admission at the EU Delegation in Podgorica and the US Embassy. No "I'm not interested in media rewriting, nor any explanations, possible subterfuges, fabrications or very dangerous relativizations as usual - I'm only interested in protecting my family and myself, because life under these circumstances is unbearable," he said.
He said that one day this will also stop.
"Everything comes to an end, I will continue to work as best as I can in the interest of all the citizens of Montenegro and these days, despite all the hardships, I tried to fulfill all my work obligations, and I will not leave the hearth of my great-grandfathers, so that you will kill us all! PS I found the strength to write this, because people are already contacting me who have heard, but I ask everyone who knows us to be understanding if I don't answer immediately or reply to messages, we are a bit tired of everything, my parents are upset and under constant stress , I didn't sleep at night, and I had to work and finish all the duties of the very responsible job I do," concluded Mrvaljević.
