Prava Montenegro announced that it condemns the attack on the acting director of the State Archives of Montenegro, Danilo Mrvaljević.
"Danilo Mrvaljević, an official of Democratic Montenegro was attacked on his doorstep. The assailant hit Danilo Mrvaljević's mother and brandished a knife, threatening to kill his family. We call on Minister Adžić to make a public statement about this case, given that his name is mentioned in this attack," Prava said in a statement.
They state that the fact that Mrvaljević has been attacked several times so far "and that his safety is clearly at risk, while the competent authorities assess that his safety is not at risk, is worrying."
They called on the authorities to provide appropriate protection to Mrvaljević.
"Threats and attacks against a public official because of a spoken word must not be tolerated. Such attacks must be severely sanctioned, in order to deter potential attackers from breaking the law. No one will be able to stop the spread of the truth by threatening public officials," Prava Crna said in a statement. Above.
