The central air conditioning was broken for days at the Polyclinic of the Institute for Children's Diseases (IBD).

Several parents and health workers complained about the lack of a cooling system in the children's hospital, claiming that the conditions in that institution are inhumane, bearing in mind that the temperature in Podgorica two days ago was up to 39 degrees Celsius.

"News" was contacted by parents who, as they claim, spent more than an hour in a non-air-conditioned room while the youngest patients were waiting for an examination. By the way, in the previous days, tropical temperatures were recorded in Podgorica, and on the night between Sunday and Monday, the highest night temperature in the last 73 years was registered - 27.6 degrees. Health workers say that it is almost impossible to work in such conditions.

The Institute for Children's Diseases confirmed that the central air conditioning is broken.

They said that new air conditioners will be installed today in the Polyclinic, because the central air conditioner on the first floor is broken and needs time to be repaired.

"In one part, on the first floor, of the Polyclinic of the Institute for Children's Diseases, the central air conditioning is currently not working. The failure was immediately diagnosed by the KCCG Engineering and Maintenance Department, after which all necessary activities were undertaken to make the central air conditioning functional again. Bearing in mind that it takes a certain amount of time to eliminate the mentioned defect, KCCG will solve this issue, which is the only possible thing at this moment, by temporarily installing new air conditioners, which will be done tomorrow", they replied from this institution.
