Budva: "Lifted" 600 illegally parked cars

The municipal police and inspection of the Municipality of Budva intensified the activities of the spider service and in the past 15 days, 600 illegally parked cars were "lifted" in the city.

This is what the head of the Municipal Police and Inspection, Darko Čelebić, told "Vijesta".

According to him, during yesterday's action, the Municipal Police and Inspection officer Aleksandar Moračanin "picked up" 30 illegally parked cars in the first shift alone.

"This is a record on the territory of Montenegro, let alone for Budva. We have not had such results until now. The fine for illegally parked vehicles is 125 euros, and this action not only brought order to the city, but also made it possible to fill the city coffers." , emphasized Čelebić and added that Moračanin will be rewarded for such results.

Out of a total of 125 euros in fines, 60 euros belong to the Municipal Police and Inspection, i.e. the Municipality of Budva, and 65 euros to the municipal company "Parking Servis".

Activities to combat illegal parking will, as announced by the Municipal Police and Inspection, be intensified in the coming days.
