The Public Enterprise for the Management of the Marine Resource (JP) published on Friday a Public Call for Tenders for the lease of temporary locations on the banks of the Bojana River.
"The subject of the Public Call is the lease of state-owned land for the installation of temporary structures such as weekend houses and fishermen's houses on the banks of the Bojana River in the municipality of Ulcinj, according to the current Amendments and Supplements to the Program of Temporary Structures in the Sea Property Zone from 2020, which was adopted by the Ministry of Ecology of spatial planning and urbanism", it is written in the announcement on the JP website.
It is emphasized that the public opening of bids, depending on the location, will take place from July 28 to August 7, 4, in the premises of the Public Enterprise.
In addition to other things, the tender specified the mandatory obligation of the selected bidder to build a bioseptic tank by the end of the year.
On the shores of Bojana, there are almost 600 buildings built in accordance with the program of temporary buildings from 2019 to 2023.
The day before the announcement of the tender, JP carried out the demolition of illegal buildings at five locations.
"On July 7, 7, with the joint activities of the Public Enterprise for the Management of the Maritime Assets of Montenegro and the Municipal Inspection and Police of the Municipality of Ulcinj, activities were carried out to remove illegally placed objects on the banks of the Bojana River. It is about the removal of the started facilities, that is, platforms and piles at five locations", writes JP in the answer to the question of "Vijesti".
"Vijesti" did not receive an answer to the question of how many illegally built buildings there are on the shores of Bojana, according to the records of JP.
According to unofficial information, more than 100 illegal houses and cottages have sprung up in the meantime.
