Revolted by the attitude of the Public Enterprise for the Management of Marine Assets and the pepper price list adopted for this year, tenants of state land, that is, owners of temporary buildings on the banks of the Bojana River, have scheduled a protest meeting for Friday.
Among other things, as stated in the announcement, they do not want the decisions of JP Morsko dobro to be presented to them, but want to participate in the process of making them through public hearings and demand that the published lease tender be withdrawn.
Also, from the non-governmental organization (NGO) "Ada Bojana", which gathers the owners, they claim that the JP in that part of the Ulcinj municipality does not invest nearly as much money as it earns from more than 600 temporary structures on the river.
"We represent a significant resource for filling the Morsko dobro's budget, since official data shows that JP received 1,66 million euros from us in the last five years. The Morsko dobro should return the collected funds to that part of the coast through investments through infrastructure and environmental protection ", the announcement states.
It is added that, among other things, the unfulfilled obligations of JP - construction of a joint office for all state services near the bridge, investment and finding a permanent solution for all roads, public lighting, improvement of electricity supply, public transport, determining the location for pulling out boats, temporary gas station at forks for filling fuel and other minor investments...
One of the reasons for the gathering is the enormous increase in rental prices.
"The fact is that most of the facilities on Ada are rented out, but not all of them. We ask that it be possible for everyone who wants to rent out accommodation to get a solution to register guests and pay taxes, the announcement emphasizes and reminds us that every year we are promised investments And still we only get new levies to pay".
"We want this situation to be looked at realistically and the current tender for the lease of buildings withdrawn until the prices are realistically considered. We want investment in this area and more participation in decisions. That decisions be made at public hearings and not in offices", concludes at the end announcements.
