Residents of Bioč, Gojvića, Pod, Srđevac, Pašića polje and Zaton are outraged by the suspension of transport on the route Bioč - Bijelo Polje, which they have not had since the beginning of June, i.e. the end of the school year.
From "Novoprevoz", however, they say that there are several lines that transport passengers every day, and that it is pure spite supported by local officials.
According to the locals, until the end of the school year, transport was performed by "Veletrans" and "Novoprevoz". "Veletrans" canceled the line, because it did not get a license extension, and in that tender "Novoprevoz" got those lines, but now it does not maintain them.
Hamo Erovic said that it is possible that these lines exist on paper but that they are not maintained, because they do not see these buses, "unless they are some who fly by air".
"But that's why we know that from Pod we give 20 euros for a taxi to Bijelo Polje. We have repeatedly addressed and complained to the competent services, as well as a petition to the Municipality, asking to provide transportation for students and people from these areas. "Unfortunately, everything remained on promises," Erović said.
In those regions, says Erović, a large part of the population, especially the younger ones, left for abroad, while part of the children and elderly households remained.
"It is difficult for us to live like this and we are looking for a solution to our problem as soon as possible. I also advised my children that as soon as they finish school, they should go "with their bellies for bread". All the youth who turned 18 left here. Those of us who are left, live from election to election, from the 50 euros we get to vote and in the end everyone forgets us. As soon as the elections are over, the promises disappear and after that no one knows us anymore", said Erović.
Miko Vuković from "Novoprevoz" said that it is not true that there are no lines to Bioča.
"We have rides at 5.15:7 a.m., at 9.30, 10:13.3 a.m., 14.15 a.m., 15:16.40 p.m., then at 17:XNUMX p.m., XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX p.m., and four more student departures when schools are open."
Novoprevoz has informed "Vijesta" that it is an act of spite carried out by another car carrier, "Veletrans", with the help of the local Secretariat.
"It is pure spite carried out by the owner of "Veletrans", who has one employee, and who drove wildly to Bioča, with the support of the Secretary of the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development of the Bjelopolje Municipality. There was a tender in April, but before that, the Municipal Secretariat assigned the lines to Bioča without a tender to another carrier, which ran for two years. It's hard to imagine, but for two years that carrier carried out illegal passenger transport, because it was enabled by the Municipality. At the official tender in April, Novoprevoz won the line," Novoprevoz informed Vijesti.
Owner of "Veletrans" Vladimir Šunjevarić, however, he said that it is not true that he drove unregistered for two years, but that he has the consent of the Municipality for all departures, for which he also has evidence, nor is it true that anyone from the Secretariat is "setting up" anything for him.
"I have been providing transportation on that route since September of last year because the locals contacted me, complaining that they did not have transportation, because the road transport company 'Simon', with which they used to drive until then, went bankrupt. We started with that line in order to meet the locals and students, and immediately turned to the Municipality for approval, which we received until the tender in April 2022. I will bring you a large number of locals who will confirm that those lines and departures they are talking about from Novoprevoz in general there is none, except maybe maintaining one line," he said.
Residents of Bioč, Poda and Srđevac say that they hope that the lines won through the tender will start working soon.
