On the cycling track on Trebjesa, organized by the Bicycling Club (BK) "Perun" from Nikšić, the state championship in mountain biking was held in which about 40 competitors took part.
Professional cyclists rode 3.250 meters in circles, and the youngest 1.100 meters in circles, on an extremely technically prepared and marked track, which was arranged for days by "Peruna" cyclists.
The winner of the Elite category is Goran Cerović from BK Pljevlja, who also triumphed last year, while Dragan Jašović from MFR "Tempo" defended his title in the masters category. Jovan Vučković from BK "Pljevlja" was the best among juniors, and Milan Tepavčević from "Perun" was the best in the hobby sport category.
In the younger categories, Perun cyclists celebrated - Nina Vujičić in the cadet category, Dunja Kovačević among the younger cadets, Marko Perović among the younger pioneers, and Savo Petrović among the older ones, and Sara Nikolić among the female pioneers. Andrej Cimbaljević from BK "Džada" was the best in the category of junior cadets. Edin Suljević from MFR "Tempo" and Milena Nikolić from "Perun" were the best among recreational athletes.

Before the start of the competition, the race director Ana Petrović Njegoš introduced the competitors to the propositions, explained the rules of driving and the behavior of the competitors on the demanding climbs and appealed to the youngest competitors to be careful.
"The course is prepared according to the standards required by the proper UCI for the cross country discipline. "The competition is significant not only because we will win national champions, but also because the selector Branko Cerović will make a team of national team members who will represent us in Greece at the championship next weekend," said Petrović Njegoš.

The competitors were welcomed and the competition was opened by the director of the Nikšić Tourism Organization, Mitar Barać, who emphasized the importance of cycling as a tourist product and a sport that promotes the most beautiful tourist destinations.
In addition to the main judge, Nikolina Despotović, there were marshals, assistant judges and five places for strengthening cyclists on the track.
