The infrastructural connection of Montenegro and more balanced regional development will provide significant opportunities for better valorization of the rich natural resources of the Gusin region, assessed Montenegrin President Milo Đukanović.
On the occasion of August 5 - Gusinja Day, he sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Municipality Anela Čekić, the President of the Assembly Bujar Hasangjekaj, councilors and all citizens of that city, with best wishes for further successful work.
"Gusinje, through centuries of existence in which civilizations and cultures alternated and permeated each other, by preserving the universal values of multi-ethnic, multicultural and multi-confessional harmony, became a signpost of how people are brought together in a lasting way, through true coexistence," said Đukanović.
According to his words, the municipality with open doors for all well-wishers sends its image and values to the whole world and through the numerous diaspora that contributes to the development and prosperity of Gusinje for generations.
"Convinced that the leadership of the local leadership, with the support of state institutions and the diaspora, always committed to Gusinje and Montenegro, will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the citizens of Gusinje, I once again congratulate you on the Day of the Municipality and send my best regards," said Đukanović.
