Today, the river Lim was flooded with white foam, which is released in the Industrial Zone in Nedakusi, near Bijelo Polje.
Several fishermen who spoke to "Vijesti" said that the foam was visible in the last days, but that its presence has increased recently.
"It's incredible what can be done from the river. We come fishing and at the same time we can pack our blinkers, because there is no more hunting there. These are poisons that poison the fish and all of us," said one fisherman.
The Water Administration informed "Vijesta" that they were aware of the latest case of an accident on Lima and that they had taken certain actions within their jurisdiction to prevent such occurrences.
"By visiting several collector pipes, as well as by visiting parts of the left and right bank of the Lima watercourse, the municipality of Bijelo Polje, it was not possible to determine the source of the ecological accedent", said the water inspector of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs Dragan Šekularac, adding that in the coming days he will strengthen the inspection supervision in order to detect such accidents.
