The owners of houses on Ada Bojana lodged an Objection against the Morski Dobr tender for the assignment of the use of temporary buildings, such as weekend houses and fishermen's houses, on the banks of the Bojana River, announced the non-governmental (NGO) Association of Houses in Ada Bojana.
"Against the announced tender for the lease of locations on the Bojana river, the members of the Association of Houses on Ada Bojana, after a public protest and several appeals and unsuccessful attempts to negotiate with the Ministry of Ecology and the Marine Authority, were forced to hire a lawyer and file an Objection to the abundant tender documentation shortcomings that make it illegal and unconstitutional," the statement submitted by lawyer Dragana Vojinović from Podgorica points out.
The public enterprise for the management of marine resources has published a public call for concessions for the use of temporary facilities, such as weekend houses and fishermen's houses, on the banks of the Bojana River.

The NGO Association of Houses of Ada Bojan added that this Complaint is the Association's last attempt to point out to the competent institutions the omissions that they would have to eliminate, and to cancel or postpone the Public Call until the conditions for its announcement are met.
"And that means that they first carry out a geometrical survey of all the buildings on Ada Bojana and, in accordance with the real situation on the ground, create a new Program and Plan of temporary buildings. And then, based on the accurately determined situation, they determine realistic prices for renting locations. A realistic price implies a realistic an increase in the current price by 10-15%, which is in line with current inflation. And by no means an increase by 150% of the already high fees that house owners have been paying for the last six years," stated the NGO Association of Ada Bojana Houses.
They said that the data from the public call are first of all incorrect, and secondly outdated.
"Because in the previous five years, many new facilities were built and old ones were added. All these changes are not included in the Public Call, so its announcement at this moment is premature and pointless, both because of those who have been regular tenants of the sea property for all these years , as well as for those who are waiting to be legalized and entered into the records with the payment of rent. We expect that Morsko will understand the importance of the Objection and will decide that it is the only right thing to do, to cancel or postpone the tender, because otherwise they will enter into a dispute with the Association a court process, the initiation of which would in any case suspend the tender until the final administrative dispute, which can last for years, would not be profitable for the Maritime Authority, bearing in mind that during the duration of the dispute, the users are not obliged to pay the annual rent". the announcement concludes.
