Today, the President of the Municipality of Budva, Milo Božović, organized a meeting in his cabinet with the aim of solving the problem of noise and illegal temporary buildings during the summer season in the territory of the Municipality of Budva.
The meeting with the President of the Municipality was attended by: Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović, Chief of Budva Security Center Nikola Terzić and Chief of Municipal Police and Inspection Miloš Tajić.
At the meeting, among other things, it was stated that the noise problem of the contact zone, especially near the Old Town, but also in other parts of the municipality, represents one of the biggest challenges for a good tourist season, and that it is necessary to take the necessary measures as soon as possible against those who do not respect the Decision on communal order on the territory of the municipality of Budva.
The Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Đurović, expressed the ministry's readiness to help the Municipality of Budva in solving the problems of this year, but also in preparing for the next tourist season, especially when it comes to the insufficient number of municipal police officers and inspectors.
The meeting also discussed the illegal installation of temporary structures and devices on the Budva promenade. The head of the Municipal Police and Inspection, Miloš Tajić, pointed out the problems faced by the municipal police in their work, the insufficient number of municipal inspectors and policemen, but added that this service, considering that we are almost at the end of the season, will immediately start with by applying repressive measures in order to introduce communal order.
Further steps in the field of cooperation and coordination in all areas of common interest were also agreed upon at the aforementioned meeting.
