Due to frequent power outages and, as they claim, inaccurate information from CEDIS about the dates of the outages, the residents of Crkvina and the owners of weekend houses say that they are "already under energy sanctions".
As he told "Vijesti". Dejan Pejović, one of the owners of a holiday home in that Kolašin village, for years several hours of announced and unannounced shutdowns have been driving weekenders away from Crkvin.
"There are several problems related to electricity supply, and some of them are incorrect information that CEDIS gives about the time of disconnection, that is, works on the transmission line, then several hours a day without electricity, three times a week, and frequent tripping of the transformer station (TS ) in Morača Monastery. In that TS, it seems, there are no on-calls. For example, this week shutdowns are planned on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 16:12.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. It is too long and unbearable, especially if the same situation has been in the summer for two or three years. However, even though it was announced, that disconnection did not happen either on Monday or Tuesday until XNUMX:XNUMX. On the other hand, unannounced things happen and last a long time," says Pejović.
A failure of the TS in Morača, that is, the transmission line from Crkvin to Morača, he explains, last weekend caused a power outage for several hours in part of Crkvin. According to Pajović, CEDIS in Kolašin does not know anything about this until one of the locals calls.
"Only when I called did they say they would send a team, so the troubleshooting lasted from the morning until almost 14 p.m. on Saturday. Due to the power outage and the uncertainty of when it would come, many weekenders with small children that day, and many days before, returned to Podgorica. Even those who had intended to stay in their homes until the end of this week. It is obvious that there are no on-calls in TS on weekends or weekdays overnight, or even after 15 p.m. That is why there is no information about the failure or quick reaction. Such a situation lasts for years. It was somewhat better since 2011, and for the next few years. However, since three years ago, this has been happening all the time," explains Pejović.
As they told "Vijesta" in CEDIS, "in the area of Kolašin, comprehensive revitalization of the complete transmission line "Lugovi" is underway. The revitalization, they explain, includes the cutting of the route, the replacement of wooden poles with the installation of steel-lattice and concrete ones, and the replacement of insulators and conductors. Regular planned shutdowns in the area of the Church were, they claim, properly announced two days in advance, in the media, as well as on the CEDIS website and official social networks.
"Since the beginning of work on the revitalization of the DV "Lugovi", it has never happened that the transmission line is disconnected in its entirety, but in sections at the disconnectors, which means that a good part of the transformer is under voltage. Currently, the section from TS "Pčinja" to TS "Motel Crkvine" is being repaired, and because of these works, we announce power line disconnections three times a week. Therefore, in the means of public information, we announce disconnections on the mentioned transmission line. Also, as we mentioned, all the information is also available on the website," said the company.
Benefits in safer and better power supply, after the completion of the works, as they claim, will be felt by the locals. They also claim that they are on duty at TS Manastir Morača every weekday from 15:22 to 22:XNUMX and on weekends from XNUMX:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX.
