The director of the Institute of Public Health (IJZ) Igor Galić and the head of the UNICEF representative office in Montenegro, Juan Santander, agreed on a series of recommendations for improving the organization and structure of supervision over MMR vaccination, the IJZ announced.
IJZ said that Galić and Santander discussed partnership cooperation between the Institute and UNICEF at the meeting today.
It is stated that a special emphasis was placed on the analysis of the joint work so far on increasing the coverage of MMR vaccination, as the main goal of the activities of both institutions.
"On that occasion, a series of recommendations were agreed to improve the organization and structure of supervision over that part of immunizations, as well as increasing the responsibility and work of numerous actors of that complex process, the details of which the public will be informed about in due time," the announcement says.
