The Government of Montenegro adopted at today's session to pay seven million euros to "Montefarm" from the current budget reserve.
"Information on the need to provide additional financial resources in the amount of seven million euros from the current budget reserve was adopted in order to ensure the smooth supply of medicines and medical devices, i.e. the settlement of the obligations that the Health Insurance Fund has towards ZU Apoteke Montenegro "Montefarm", it is stated in announcement.
The government also agreed to provide the requested funds, noting that the protection of citizens' health is an absolute priority.
"In the discussion, it was emphasized that the approved amount of seven million will cover the urgent needs of the total due obligations amounting to 12.949.859,10 euros. In this way, the period until the adoption of the budget rebalance, which will plan the total missing funds for the current year, will be bridged ", the Government announced.
