Today, the government determined the urban planning and technical conditions for the construction of a social housing facility - Children's House, in the Tološi settlement in Podgorica.
The Government has announced that, in accordance with the Law on Social and Child Protection, the project is intended for the accommodation service, which includes, among other things, the stay of the beneficiary in a shelter.
"The opinion was expressed that the establishment of a shelter service will be extremely important and useful, bearing in mind that as a country we face a large number of challenges every day due to the lack of services to support children and families at risk," the statement said.
At the session, the government adopted information on the need to resolve the issue of spatial capacities of the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office, the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica and the Special Police Department.
The Government said that a decision has been adopted to use the old Government building, with a total square footage of 2.954 square meters in state ownership, for that purpose.
As they said, the improvement of the spatial capacities of state prosecution offices would significantly contribute to the effective fight against organized crime and corruption, which is a priority of Montenegro in the negotiation process in chapters 23 and 24.
It is stated that the proposal to amend the Government's conclusion of July 8 this year was adopted, which, at the request of the minister without portfolio Zoran Miljanić, approves an additional 500 thousand euros for the needs of the Commission for the assessment of damages from natural disasters.
The requested amount, as the Government said, is in accordance with the estimates made based on received requests from legal and natural persons for compensation for damage caused as a result of natural disasters that hit Montenegro in the previous period.
The Government adopted the Proposal to amend the Government's conclusion of November 6, 2020.
As it was announced, by an earlier conclusion, 400 thousand euros were allocated to Berane General Hospital for the purchase of MR machines, mobile X-ray machines, as well as modern anesthesia machines, of which 161.348 euros remained unspent.
The Government said that the amended conclusion will allow that amount to be used for equipping the intensive care unit.
The government adopted the information on the conclusion of the vehicle procurement contract between the Ministry of Defense and the company "BMC Otomotiv Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi".
"In accordance with the extremely developed friendly relations of the two countries, and the existence of the Agreement on Military Financial Cooperation concluded by the two governments on October 1, 2019, the signing of the contract will fulfill the prerequisites for the delivery of the donated cargo vehicle BMC 245 4x4 with an aviation fuel tank with a capacity of six thousand liters with delivery to Montenegro, without financial cost for the budget of Montenegro", the announcement says.
The government has adopted information on awarding athletes, medal winners at the Mediterranean Games, Balkan, European and world championships.
In the information, it was emphasized that in the previous period of this year, Montenegrin athletes achieved significant results at international competitions, which confirmed the quality of the Montenegrin sports base and promoted the country in the best possible way.
The Government said that the Ministry of Finance is in charge of paying money in individual amounts of 500 euros for the athletes, selectors and members of professional coaching commissions mentioned in the information.
For this purpose, as they said, a total of 34 thousand euros was allocated.
The government made a decision on the formation of a working group for the preparation and implementation of activities within the framework of Montenegro's presidency of the process of cooperation in Southeast Europe in the period from July this year to June next year.
