Was it possible for someone who is not a DPS official to hold such a responsible position, in a captured state, for 20 years in four mandates?" said Đurović.
According to him, Vujović is at the very top of the DPS personnel structure.
"Only Vesna Medenica and Filip Vujanović served three mandates, illegally, in the positions of President of the Supreme Court and President of the State. Ranko Vujović, as secretary of the Media Council for Self-Regulation, was in charge of attacking all media that work against the interests of DPS. It will be remembered that the Commission for Complaints of the Self-Regulatory Body, headed by Ranko Vujović, accepted the complaint of DPS in November 2016 and accused TVCG of violating principle IV of the Code of Journalists because the host of the show "Replika", broadcast live, did not warn the guest in advance ( Nikola Marković) not to attack President Milo Đukanović and not to relativize the threat to his life after the parliamentary elections in the operation known as the "coup d'état". The director of the Media Center said that Vujović, as the president of the AEM Council, had the opportunity, in accordance with the law and the Statute, to compel or remove the then director because of Pink M television, which, as Đurović claims, was illegally given a frequency in Crna thanks to his (Vujović's) silence. It will be remembered that in the period 2015-2018 Pink M Television was issued 39 warning measures by AEM whose Council President was Ranko Vujović, but that this television was never "blacked out" in accordance with the law because it was not in the interest of DPS. Ranko Vujović, together with other members of the AEM Council, approved the postponement of the obligation established by law for electronic media and allowed the postponement of the payment of annual fees for broadcasting, so AEM lost 215.541,86 euros," he said. He also said that Vujović is trying to hide behind the authority of the Council of Europe, so he indicates that he, like the ministry (DPS), only followed the suggestions of this international institution.
"And this is where Ranko Vujović feels the devastating consequences of DPS rule, she does not remember that some experts hired by the Council of Europe, during the adoption of the Law on RTCG in 2008, clearly announced that the independence of RTCG was beginning to collapse by changing the way of electing members of the RTCG Council. that did not suit the DPS, so the suggestions that were not to their liking were ignored, and since 2008, the independence of the RTCG has been continuously collapsing, with the unreserved support of Ranko Vujović, a favorite member of the DPS working groups. I unconditionally accept the suggestions and opinion of any expert of the Council of Europe or the European Commission, and we will talk about their expertise another time. The DPS government obviously taught Ranko Vujovć not to ask questions and to question what he hears from his party mentors or representatives of international organizations. Avoiding the use of vital organs for many years leads to atrophy and other serious consequences," said Đurović.
According to him, it remains unclear what the essence of Ranko Vujović's reaction is.
"It is clear that there should be public discussions on media laws, and that is what the Media Center is asking for, to bring the process to an end. It is possible that Ranko Vujović is saying in his response (albeit unintentionally) that media laws should not be adopted because the Government does not need anything to work and propose while he is in a "technical mandate". This is a really meaningless thesis that is not grounded in the Constitution or the law. One of the competences of the Government is to propose laws and the Assembly will decide on them. If Ranko Vujović really thinks about the obligations of Montenegro in regarding EU accession, then he should know that the fulfillment of our European obligations will not be accelerated by postponing the adoption of media laws until a new government is formed, which may take 6-7 months. The concern of Ranko Vujovic, as well as his employers, for EU integration because they, by the way, only like that process if it is fake. Maybe Ranko Vujović still hopes that the DPS will return to power soon, so she thinks it's a shame that the media laws are being changed now, because they could again to serve for DPS to occupy RTCG and AEM, but also to preserve its influence on the local public broadcaster Grdaska TV (Podgorica). And I believe there is a problem for Ranko Vujović, he knows that the proposed changes to the media laws can reduce the space for the influence of the DPS and other parties over public broadcasters because it will be necessary to elect new management bodies, which means the loss of influence over one of the last TV strongholds of the DPS - City TV," said Đurović.
According to him, Ranko Vujović actually wrote his entire previous response in order to try to insult him by announcing that she was "a minister".
"Ranko Vujović could have communicated his position in the reactions and pointed out possible mistakes of the Media Center without anger, qualifications and venom, but he simply cannot do that. It is important to accuse the Media Center of working for the interests of media and political groups without offering any arguments. I guess they are chosen in the media service of the DPS on the basis of specific character traits, willingness to slander, denounce, qualify... Well, Ranka Vujovća and the so-called media service of the DPS are welcomed by the lettuce producer (I believe he did not mention this in the to his previous administration) and "Madame Minister" (I should add, however, in a technical mandate). It is not easy for you. There is no more Željko Rutović in the Ministry of Culture and Media to prepare shameful legal solutions by which you captured RTCG, AEM, Gradska TV, no more the political forces of DPS which will ensure further destruction of RTCG, AEM, local public broadcasters, the most important of which is Gradska TV. And that angers Ranko Vujović," said Đurović.
He also said that one day Ranko Vujović will understand that DPS will never return to power in that arrogant, destructive, undemocratic, nationalist... form.
"You were left without absolute power over RTCG, and your loss was announced back in 2017, and you have reason not to love me. Your influence over RTCG is limited today, although it still exists. I am sure that the current government and that the Media Center will contribute to freeing this and other media institutions from party influence. I will not be surprised if DPS, based on two years of opposition experience, realizes before Ranko Vujović that a professionalized RTCG, without party influence, is better for them as well.
