M portal: Threatening emails arrived to the editor-in-chief, when the prime minister sent a message to the criminal clan...

The email address of the main and responsible editor of the M portal, Danica Nikolić, received several emails with threatening content on Saturday.

The threatening e-mails mention journalists, civil activists, representatives of the non-governmental sector, politicians and companies, but also make specific death threats, writes M portal.

"We are very aware of the difficulty and danger of doing journalism, as well as the fact that there are always those who are dissatisfied with our work, and that there will always be those who will try to "explain" to us how we should work," they said from the M portal.

They added that it is an integral part of a journalist's job and life.

"When the Prime Minister of the country where you live and work sends an open message to one of the most notorious criminal clans in Europe that the M portal, Pobjeda, Gradska televizija, CDM portal, Analitika portal and Antena M radio are their main enemies and an obstacle to the realization of their plans, and those who are supposed to protect journalists, first of all as citizens of Montenegro, and then as professionals, have been silent for days and pretend that nothing is happening, things are inevitably starting to get complicated," they said from the M portal.
