"The municipality of Tivat recognized the need to provide support to our oldest fellow citizens, and in 2006 it joined the project "Care of the elderly in Montenegro", in cooperation with the Tivat Red Cross, the Employment Institute of Montenegro, the Center for Social Work Tivat and the Home of Health Tivat. and after the completion of the project, the Municipality of Tivat, in cooperation with the OO of the Red Cross, continued with the implementation of the geronto program, the services of which are used by between 50 and 70 elderly people from the territory of our municipality. Seven geronto-housewives are engaged in these jobs, who work daily with our oldest fellow citizens, and who have completed training to perform these services", said Ognjanović.
