Asphalting of local roads in several locations in Tivat is underway

Works on rehabilitation and asphalting of local roads in several locations in Tivat, which are being carried out as part of the public tender of the Directorate for Investments, are ongoing, and yesterday the asphalting of several roads that had already been prepared for this began yesterday.

"The value of the works included in this contract is more than 145 thousand euros. After the removal of the surface layer and the preparatory work, the work on laying a new layer of asphalt began this morning. The President of the Municipality of Tivat Željko Komnenović and the Vice-President Vladimir Arsić today visited one of the locations in the settlement of Mrčevac scheduled for rehabilitation," announced the local administration of Tivat.

As part of the works, the Mažina - Tripovići intersection and Kamelija Street in the city center will be asphalted, the street in Gradiošnica (Mitrovina location and towards the reservoir), Kava Street (Bradaševo), Mažina II Street (no. 65 and the intersection by the blue bridge towards Matkovići), street Mazina (under the reservoir), then Novosadska, Donja Lastva III and Lepetane streets - the coast, as well as the extension of Mrčevac street.

By realizing this tender, the Municipality of Tivat continues with investments in local infrastructure. In 2022, two valuable tenders were previously implemented, within which more than 400 thousand euros were set aside for the asphalting of roads.
