Prime Minister Dritan Abazović held a lecture at UMEF University in Geneva today.
As announced by the Government, after the lecture, Abazović was awarded an honorary doctorate from the aforementioned university for his leadership and contribution to the rule of law, promotion of peace and stability in the region.
"During the lecture, Prime Minister Abazović spoke about the political situation in Montenegro and the Western Balkans, the security situation in Europe after the Russian Federation's invasion of Ukraine, but also about his new book "Criticism of Global Ethics", which deals with issues of globalization, deglobalization and the ethicalizing model of global society," the announcement states.
At the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Swiss UMEF University, it is added, a master's program in international relations and global politics has been established for future political and economic leaders, which includes the confrontation of theoretical concepts and dialogue with prominent international officials.
"The basis of the program, according to UMEF University, is the contribution of leaders, officials and academics who share innovative vision, knowledge and many years of experience with the participants. Yesterday, the current president of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, gave a lecture at this university," the Government announced.
The headquarters of the Swiss UMEF University, it is added, is located in a castle that was built in 1427.
