State Archives: There was no excess of monthly consumption in August

The State Archives announced today that there was no overrun of monthly spending in August.

They reacted to the announcement of the Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS), which states, among other things, that the State Archives violated the limit on the spending of state funds by around 28.000 euros during the election campaign.

"Regarding MANS-A's allegations that the State Archives exceeded the spending limit in the month of August during the election campaign, we inform the public that according to the data from the Finance Department of the State Archives, the monthly spending in August was not exceeded at all, if we take into account the fact that 2 on August paid obligations based on employees' wages and several invoices in the total amount of 108.244,53 euros," the statement of the State Archives points out.

They added that from August 3, when the elections were announced, until the end of August, obligations in the amount of EUR 54.365,80 were paid, so that, as they say, consumption for the month of August was also taken into account, and as claimed by the State Archives he did not exceed it because the average consumption for the previous six months, February - July 2022, was 134.633,17 euros.

"On the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, in the Control and Supervision Plan, it is pointed out that the monitoring of weekly reports will be carried out weekly, and that compliance with the amount of monthly spending is valid for September 2022," concludes the announcement of the State Archives.
