The tourist organization of Budva is investing 15.000 euros in improving the provision of medical services in Budva.
"Budva is a city that every year an increasing number of people and families choose as their home, we are very proud of that, but this fact entails a great responsibility of the competent institutions to make the life of all citizens of Budva beautiful and safe. One of the basic of the life needs of our fellow citizens is certainly adequate and easily accessible health care. Bearing in mind that the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva is run by socially responsible business, we decided to get involved in solving this issue and to help the Budva Health Center with the amount of 15.000 euros , in order to improve the provision of medical services to citizens, as well as tourists, on the territory of the entire municipality through a series of planned and contractually defined activities," said Nemanja Kuljača, director of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Budva.
The allocated funds will be invested in covering the costs of hiring a doctor and other medical staff in ZS Petrovac, the costs of hiring a specialist doctor, the campaign to mark the "Month of prevention of the fight against breast cancer", the costs of putting the Sveti Stefan - Pržno clinic into operation, the procurement of certain necessary devices and apparatus for the work of specialist doctors, as well as covering the costs of the main adaptation project and the furnishing project of the Budva Health Center.
"Thanks to the dedicated work of all the employees of the Organization, especially the colleagues assigned to the tourist and information bureaus, the revenues on all grounds, especially from the tourist tax, exceeded the planned and expected many times over, so we are once again able to provide funds for such significant activities that contribute to improving the quality of life and stay in our city," Kuljača concluded.
