Minister of the Interior Filip Adžić met with representatives of the Union of the Police Administration, the Union of the Ministry of the Interior and the Independent Police Union, where solutions to challenges related to the status of MUP and Police Administration officers were discussed, according to a statement from the MUP.
As they say, Adžić expressed his willingness to provide support in finding solutions that are sustainable. He emphasized the importance of agreeing and signing the Collective Agreement for employees as soon as possible and added that representatives of the Independent Police Union will be included in the working group for the drafting of the Collective Agreement.
"In addition to regulating the rights of employees through the Collective Agreement, it is equally important to improve their material and technical conditions for work, procurement of equipment and uniforms," the press release points out.
Adžić emphasized that increasing the wages of employees, as well as solving the housing problem, will be a priority in the coming period.
"Representatives of the trade union expressed their satisfaction for holding the meeting and the opportunity to, through a constructive conversation, present their expectations and proposals in order to improve the status of officials," said the MUP.
As they say, the management of the MUP and the unions of the Ministry and the Police are on the same task: to create conditions for a better status and position of employees.
"In this way, the quality of work is further improved and good results are achieved, and in the coming period, we will work diligently to achieve this goal," the announcement concludes.
