On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health announced the fourth public call for a program to support citizens, for rehabilitation after severe conditions of covid-19 infection.
The public invitation states that post-covid rehabilitation is provided to patients at the Institute for Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Rheumatology "Dr. Simo Milošević" in Igalo.
Citizens who have been in hospital for at least seven days, with ventilatory support - a respirator or non-invasive ventilation - have the right to participate in using the program. The duration of rehabilitation is 12 days (ten therapeutic days plus two weekend days)," the public invitation states.
Interested citizens are required to submit a copy of the discharge list after completion of hospital treatment and contact information. The invitation states that citizens can register by submitting documentation to the Ministry of Health, at the address Rimski trg no. 46 Podgorica and by e-mail covid.rehabilitacija@mzd.gov.me, as well as to the Institute "Dr. Simo Milošević", at the address Ulica Sava Ilića no. 5 Igalo and e-mail rehabilitazijapostcovid@igalospa.com with the reference "Citizen support program for post-Covid rehabilitation".
The deadline for submitting applications with the necessary documentation is 30 days from the date of publication of the invitation.
The Institute for Public Health announced yesterday that there are 484 active cases of coronavirus in Montenegro. During Thursday, 68 new cases were registered and no deaths related to this infection were reported. There were 15 patients suffering from covid-19 undergoing hospital treatment yesterday.
Since the beginning of the covid pandemic, in March 2020, a total of 2.785 citizens have died as a result of the coronavirus infection.
